International Society of the Built Environment

Editing Services

ISBE is the parent of Indoor and Built Environment. We provide the editorialship for the journal.

The society believes that it is important to provide opportunity and assistance to authors who have a less than proficient English language skill for drafting good quality journal papers in science, technology, medicine or the social sciences.

The authors should ensure that the technical content of their paper is sound and that they should critically review the merit of their paper including style, English and presentation, methodology, the interpretation - whether this is valid, and the conclusion - is it reasonable and logical based on the finding of the study. The Guidelines to Authors is provided at http://ibe.sagepub.com. The following criteria would be useful for the review of your paper.

Is the paper appropriate for publication in Indoor and Built Environment?

Does the paper address the objectives of the reported study?
Does the Abstract accurately reflect the content of the paper?
Does the content of the paper have any scientific merit?
Is the methodology used appropriate and suitably controlled for good quality scientific investigation?
